Hello and welcome!
My name is Pavol Guman, and I’m a sound designer based in Bratislava, Slovakia. I hold a Master’s degree in Sound Design from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, and I have a deep passion for immersive audio technologies and creative workflows. My expertise covers sound design, music production, and post-production, with hands-on experience mixing in Dolby Atmos and developing innovative audio solutions for film and live performances. Beyond the technical side, I have led teams, coordinated complex projects, and collaborated across disciplines - always combining creativity with critical thinking to solve challenges and drive innovation.
Outside the studio, I play the violin and enjoy exploring music history and diverse genres, which continually inspire and enrich my artistic perspective.

Our work combines immersive formats with the flexibility of industry-standard digital audio workstations like Pro Tools, Logic Pro and Ableton Live. For sound shaping and restoration, we use a wide palette of state-of-the-art plugins including iZotope RX for audio repair, Waves, Harrison and FabFilter for precision processing and Native Instruments, Spitfire Audio or for creative sound design and composition.
In the studio, we capture audio through high-end recording chains, pristine audio interfaces, and a range of studio microphones suited for dialogue, Foley, and music recording. Our workflow integrates real-time spatial audio processing, convolution reverbs for authentic acoustic environments, and surround/immersive monitoring systems, ensuring mixes translate across cinemas, streaming platforms, and live performance spaces.
We also stay ahead by exploring AI-assisted tools that accelerate workflow without sacrificing artistic control.
